Programs

Eggleston is first and foremost a resource for individuals with disabilities and their families. We help people from all walks of life and with a wide range of disabilities explore and enjoy the best of what life has to offer. Whether it’s the satisfaction of a job well done, or developing friendships and life skills that lead to more independence, we can help.

Eggleston is a non-profit 501c3 organization which offers programs in three broad areas we categorize as “home, work and play”.

The areas include employment programs, day support and life enhancement, residential services, community employment placements and leisure programs.

For example, the Eggleston Sarah Bonwell Hudgins Center is a 38-acre campus that includes residential homes, recreation and therapy and an employment division.

Civitan Acres is a year round day support program but also the home of a seven week summer camp that offers indoor and outdoor recreation for youth and adults.

Of course we also offer many employment and job training opportunities. These include our “enterprises,” which also target businesses, and contracted services such as linen and food service. If you’re interested in any of the services available, please contact us, or the individual location directly. Persons with qualifying disabilities can find information on receiving services on our disability services page.
