Garden Center
The Eggleston Garden Center is a retail outlet and greenhouse featuring house & bedding plants, hanging baskets, herbs, gardening supplies, and accessories. You’re invited to stop by, see the selection, and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere.
Eggleston’s Garden Centers grow and sell native wetland plants to help with local shoreline restoration projects. Read more about the Native Plant Program here.
We also offer full service landscaping for both commercial and residential clients.
Excellent Values, Caring People
You’ll find excellent values on plants grown in our greenhouses, cared for by people who really take pride in their work and are grateful for the opportunity. With Eggleston supervision, our people with disabilities receive training in a retail environment and plant craft.
Greenhouses
Down the street from the Garden Center, next to the Virginia Zoological Park, are the Eggleston Greenhouses and Training Facility, comprising three greenhouses, meeting rooms, and outdoor gardens. Here our people learn landscaping services including landscape design, installation and grounds maintenance.
Grounds maintenance crews assemble here for transport to client sites, where they work under Eggleston supervision. Our Greenhouse operation also provides associates the ability to learn plant propagation and greenhouse management.
Crews of 5-12 Eggleston workers provide quality landscaping work.
